Backwashable 3-in-1 potable water filter composed of a dirt particle filter, an activated carbon filter and a bacteria filter designed to be used immediately upstream of the draw-off point (e.g. under the kitchen sink). Connecting piece cold water 3/8″ male included.

POU filter cartridge contains the following components:

• Stainless steel filter
• Activated carbon filter
• Ultrafiltration membrane
• Polypropylene filter element

Stainless steel strainer: For coarse dirt particles

Activated carbon filter removes:

• Odorants and flavorings
• Colors
• Petroleum Hydrocarbons (used as solvents, are used in petrol/ Diesel fuels)
• halogenated organic hydrocarbons (e.g., CFCs)
• organic hydrocarbons (e.g., methane)
• chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone, permanganate
• heavy metals (e.g., Pb, Cu, Hg)
• fluoride
• reduces phenols (feces)

Ultrafiltration: Water contents of 0.1 – 0.01μm are retained (macromolecules, e.g., silicones, viruses)
Polypropylene filter element: The PP filter cartridge is made of polypropylene resin, without chemical adhesives. The cartridges are randomly bonded 3D micro-pores. As a result, the fibers have a high density and a high filter fineness to filter out pollutants with low pressure drop. By means of this structure, loose particles and e.g. Rust efficiently removed by this filter.

Feature: The three layer structure provides high dirt pickup, long filter performance through thermal bonding without the use of binders and adhesives. 100% pure polypropylene does not pollute water. Wide chemical compatibility.
